Vision
“Producing Excellent, Independent, and Cultured Bachelor of Public Health Graduates who Master the Science and Technology of Public Health Based on Tourism Health in 2025”
Based on the vision above, what is meant by Excellent, Independent and Cultured are as follows:
- Excellent means that graduates have advantages in the field of public health that are comparative, competitive, and innovative at the local, national and international levels, contributing significantly to the development of science, technology, and arts as well as community development.
- Independent means that graduates have leadership and entrepreneurial skills in managing resources optimally to produce innovations that are beneficial for the development of public health science and human welfare.
- Being cultured means that graduates uphold academic culture based on the noble values of Pancasila and universal local wisdom to interact in society by promoting honesty and harmony between good thoughts, words and deeds (Trikaya Parisuda). In addition, it can be interpreted as the ability to develops the results of local cultural ideas for educational, research and community service activities in order to improve the health status of the community.
Mission
"Empowering Bachelor of Public Health Study Program Medical Faculty of Udayana University as a Public Health Education Institution that Implements the Tri Dharma of Higher Education Based on the Development of Science and Technology, Entrepreneurship and Cultural Values"
The mission is detailed as follows:
- Organizing quality public health undergraduate education to produce graduates with high competence, professionalism, character, and international competitiveness, as well as tourism health insight;
- Conducting research to support the development of science, technology and sustainable public health development, as well as having a tourism health perspective;
- Organizing community service according to the needs of public health development, both at the local, national, regional and international levels;
- Increasing cooperation networks with related sectors, both at local, national, regional and international levels;
- Empowering PSSKM FK UNUD as an institution that produces and develops knowledge, technology, entrepreneurship and is based on culture.
Goals
Based on the mission above, the strategic goals of developing PSSKM FK UNUD for the next five years are formulated as follows:
- Produce quality graduates who have high competence in mastering public health science and technology;
- Increase the capacity of study programs in providing access to education services to the community;
- Develop a healthy study program through optimizing the role of the governance organization organs in accordance with the BLU principles;
- Develop cooperation in various fields to improve the quality of the tri dharma of higher education;
- Producing quality, relevant, and competitive research in accordance with the development of science and technology, producing national, international scientific publications and patents for the benefit of the community.
