BPJS Kesehatan and PSSKM Unud Host Guest Lecture on “Social Health Insurance”
Denpasar – The Undergraduate Program in Public Health (PSSKM), Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, in collaboration with BPJS Kesehatan, held a guest lecture titled “Social Health Insurance” on Friday (September 27, 2024) at the Prof. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Meeting Room, Faculty of Medicine.
The event was part of BPJS Kesehatan’s Senior Leader Manager program, which aims to utilize the experience and expertise of senior leaders to share knowledge and insights with the younger generation, particularly in the field of public health.
The lecture featured Ms. Elfanetti, Deputy Director of BPJS Kesehatan for the Bali, NTT, and NTB regions, as the main speaker. She highlighted the crucial role of social health insurance in ensuring equitable access to healthcare services for communities across Indonesia.
The session was attended by 71 participants, consisting of undergraduate Public Health students and Master of Public Health (MIKM) students at Udayana University. The participants also had the opportunity to engage in discussions about the challenges and future prospects of implementing social health insurance in Indonesia.
Through this program, students are expected to gain a deeper understanding of health insurance systems and be better prepared to apply this knowledge in their academic development and future contributions to public health practice.
