DK KMP KIA Social Service 2023
The Special Division of the Student Community Concerned with Maternal and Child Health (DK KMP KIA) HMKM FK Unud is holding Social Service activities which are a series of National Children's Day 2023 activities in the form of Goes to School and Giving Donations to orphanages which will be held on Saturday-Sunday, 15- July 16 2023. The first social service activity was Goes to School which was held at Baruna Elementary School, Batubulan and targeted grade 2 students. This time Goes to School carried the theme "Brave with Astha Creations for Nawasena." This goes to school activity is in the form of providing education regarding Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) as well as the practice of washing hands with the 6 correct steps where the educational media used is an animated video and a video of a hand washing song. Education was provided to 47 students from classes 2A and 2B of Baruna Elementary School, Batubulan. Apart from that, students were also invited to do handprint activities using watercolors on paper and make a video greeting National Children's Day together. The committee also gave participation certificates and hand washing soap to the school as a form of memento. The activity ended with the distribution of snacks to all students in class 2A and 2B. Then, the final social service activity and the closing of the 2023 National Children's Day series is the donation made at the Salam Tabanan Orphanage. Donations given to the orphanage are in the form of basic necessities, bathing and washing equipment, and cash. All donations were collected through open donations which were open to the public for one month starting from June 9 to July 9 2023. The committee also gave a participation certificate to the Salam Tabanan Orphanage as a form of memento. Don't forget, at the end of the activity, the committee invited the children at the Salam Tabanan Orphanage to make a video greeting National Children's Day together.
