HMKM Holds DK-KMKPKIA and DK-KMPT Member Meeting

Saturday, January 8, 2022 and Sunday, January 9, 2022, the members of the Special Division of the Student Community Concerned for Maternal and Child Health (DK-KMPKIA) and the Special Division of the Student Community Concerned for Tobacco Hazards (DK-KMPT) were held. KMPKIA and KMPT are two divisions under the Public Health Student Association (HMKM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University which are responsive in the field of maternal and child health and the dangers of tobacco. HMKM is an executive organization formed from the student association of the Bachelor of Public Health Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. HMKM functions to channel interests and talents as well as to facilitate all student activities, so that students can hone skills and increase organizational experience and can develop the health profession from an early age.


This member meeting was held online and was opened directly by the coordinator of the bachelor of public health study program, dr. Putu Ayu Swandewi Astuti, S.Ked, MPH., Ph.D. The members' meeting aims to elect a new division head, ratify the division's accountability report and determine the AD/ART of each division. In this activity as the head of the KMPKIA division for the 2022/2023 period, Ni Made Mery Setianingsih was elected, while the head of the KMPT division was Luh Putu Sintya Devi Agustin.


In this member meeting, the coordinator of the undergraduate public health study program hopes that the elected chairman can continue their respective program of activities. Some of the program activities that have been scheduled include capacity building, commemoration of national children's day, KMP-KI posters and infocomm, commemoration of World No Tobacco Day, KTR socialization, national talk shows/seminars, radio broadcasts, and member deliberations. Through DK-KMPT and DK-KMPKIA, it is seen the participation of students in promotive and preventive efforts of health problems in the field of maternal and child health as well as controlling the dangers of tobacco.
