“REKAT” a series of AKA 2023 activities

The Public Health Student Association of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University carried out community service activities with the theme "REKAT" (Remaja Sehat Indonesia Kuat.). This service is one of a series of activities at The Ajang Ktreativitas Akbar (AKA) 2023, which was held on Saturday, 25 February 2023. Located at Widya Sakti Middle School Denpasar, this service targeted grade 8 students at Widya Sakti Middle School Denpasar. The event was opened directly by the Coordinator of the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, dr. Putu Ayu Swandewi Astuti, MPH, PhD and was attended by 153 students class 8A-8E, 30 teachers and staff at Widya Sakti Middle School, 39 committee members on duty, 31 volunteers, and 24 PSSKM FK Unud lecturers. There are several activities in this community service, namely, socialization of balanced nutrition in adolescents and measuring weight, height body and upper arm circumference (LILA) by volunteers who are accompanied by lecturers, and there is a consultation post (measurement of blood pressure, hemoglobin level, blood sugar level, and body fat percentage) provided by PSSKM FK UNUD lecturers. Besides that, to fill in the turn time for measurements, the lecturers conducted games on DHF prevention and environmental health.
